View 50 lovingly tended community gardens around the neighborhood and relive their history through a unique pageant.
Combining performance art with live music, original dance, heartfelt poetry, and stirring ceremonies, it is no small wonder why the Rites of Spring is such a fantastic event.
Children are sure to enjoy these marvelous performances while gaining a new respect for the common garden.

The giant puppets and mobile structures will delight all
youngsters’ imaginations while the thumping beats of authentic Brazil, Africa,
and Dominican bands will have kids dancing with appreciation for new cultures.
Learning through hands-on activities will ensure your children will retain this
valuable experience.
With proceeds going to saving these spectacular community gardens and others
just like them for future generations, all visitors can feel great about giving
back to the community.
