Run by the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, Red Hook Recreation Center covers 58 acres that include public basketball courts, a running track, a pool, handball courts, baseball fields, and soccer and football fields, with free sports instruction available for all NYC kids. The center offers classes in aerobics, martial arts, Yoga and computers. Summer camp and after school programs are also available. Red Hook Recreation Center is convenient and comfortable, and with paved paths, benches, picnic tables and plantings, it’s a great place to take the family on a picnic and a walk in the park. |
