Busy Bees: Baking and Crafts for Kids! is an outrageously fun weekend activity group for children in which creative & attentive instructors lead small classes (of no more than 10 bees) in engaging baking and crafts activities. At Busy Bees, kids learn by doing! Hands-on, closely supervised fun grows confidence in kids and stretches their imaginations. To give you an example the kinds of activities we offer, there's everything from cookie decoration, to basic Origami (Japanese paper folding), to designing useful crafts (with real-world applications!), like picture frames, place settings, games and beyond. (Note: If a child demonstrates a love for, say, painting or sculpting, that child's hunger for painting or sculpting will be nourished! We believe in feeding a child's interests to develop a demonstrated talent or skill set. And since we limit enrollment to 10 children per class, we are able to lavish each of our precious busy bees with a great deal of individualized attention.) Why not give us a try? Our first class of the new season will take place Sunday, February 18th, from 2 to 4PM. A 1-hour session with Busy Bees is $45 (including materials). Parents are invited to leave their children with us for 1 or 2 hours. Activities for the first and second hours are unique.
